Add LeadReply to Shopify
Add LeadReply to every page of your storefront, no app required.
Step by step
Install on Shopify
- 1
Copy your LeadReply snippet
After creating your widget in the dashboard, copy the one-line script snippet.
- 2
Open your theme settings
In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes. Click the ••• menu next to your live theme and choose Edit code.
- 3
Edit theme.liquid
Open layout/theme.liquid and paste the snippet just before </head>. If you later update or change your theme, paste it in again: Shopify can drop code edits on theme updates.
- 4
Save and preview
Click Save, then open your storefront. The widget appears on your home, collection, product and cart pages. Shopify doesn’t allow custom code on its checkout pages, so it doesn’t show there.
That’s it.
Open your live site in a private window and say hello to your new front desk. If anything looks off, email help@leadreply.xyz and we’ll help you personally.
Questions
Shopify + LeadReply
- One snippet works on any plan or theme
- Loads asynchronously, so page speed is unaffected
- Answers come only from your own FAQs and knowledge base
Does the LeadReply widget work on Shopify?
Yes. The widget is one asynchronous script tag that runs on any platform where you can edit HTML or paste custom code — including Shopify.
Will the chat widget slow down my Shopify site?
No. The snippet loads asynchronously after your page content, so it does not block rendering or measurably affect load time.
Can I customize how the widget looks on Shopify?
Yes. You can match your brand colors, greeting, and tone from the LeadReply dashboard; Premium plans also support full white-labeling.
