Install on WordPress

Sign up and create your widget
Create your LeadReply account, then follow the onboarding steps to build your assistant: add your FAQs, services, and hours so it can answer real questions.

Log in to wp-admin
In your WordPress dashboard, go to the page where you manage site-wide code.

Paste the snippet site-wide
The cleanest way is the free WPCode plugin: open Code Snippets → Header & Footer, paste your LeadReply snippet into the Header box, and save. It now loads on every page. On WordPress.com, plugins need a paid plan.

No plugin? Use your theme
In Appearance → Theme File Editor, open footer.php and paste the snippet just before the closing </body> tag. (Use a child theme so updates keep it.)

Check your live site
Open your homepage in a private window. The chat bubble should appear in seconds — say hello and ask it a question from your FAQs.

Yes. The widget is one asynchronous script tag that runs on any platform where you can edit HTML or paste custom code — including WordPress.
Will the chat widget slow down my WordPress site?
No. The snippet loads asynchronously after your page content, so it does not block rendering or measurably affect load time.
Can I customize how the widget looks on WordPress?
Yes. You can match your brand colors, greeting, and tone from the LeadReply dashboard; Premium plans also support full white-labeling.
